The conference venue
The venue for the Showcomotion Children's Media Conference is the Showroom Cinema in Sheffield. The Showroom Cinema is a purpose built 4-screen cinema and conference venue, just 5 minutes from Sheffield railway station.
Showroom Cinema
Delegates can walk from the railway station to the conference venue, deposit their bags in the conference cloakroom, register and then join a session all in about 15 minutes.
Showroom Café/Bar
Open from 11am each day.Food served 12 noon until 9pm each day.
Car Parking
There is an all day park on Sidney Street and Arundel Street.
Evening & weekend parking is available on Arundel Street. There is on-street meter parking on Charles Street, and Arundel Street.
Access
All public areas of the Showroom are fully accessible for people using wheelchairs. Please notify the Box Office on +44 (0) 114 275 7727 if you wish to reserve a wheelchair user space in the cinema. Toilet facilities for wheelchair users are available in the bar, café and lower cinema lobby. The Showroom has a lift for customer use.
The cinema has infra red sound facilities for people who are hearing impaired. For a head set and for a large print version of this programme, please ask the Box Office.
