Nia got her first presenting job by cooking an egg curry on a seventies Magazine for children called Seren Wib (Shooting Star).  After a number of years as a Continuity Announcer in the early days of S4C, she became a presenter on a Sunday night live Light Ent Show on the Welsh language Channel.

Nia wrote the original Fireman Sam in both Welsh and English. 

She spent many years Directing and Producing shows in all genres - both as a freelance and for her own production company, which is currently in post production with Baaas, the first co-pro between a UK company and Al Jazeera Children's Channel.
