Dr. Laura G. Brown has been at Little Airplane since 2001 where she developed the signature “Show and Tell Research” method which incorporates many techniques from clinical child assessment, including direct questioning, scaffolded retelling and play assessment. 

Dr. Brown currently oversees all projects including “The Wonder Pets!” and “3rd & Bird.”  Previous credits at Little Airplane include “Oobi!” and “Go, Baby!” 

Outside Little Airplane, Dr. Brown serves as Curriculum Consultant on “Ni Hao, Kai-Lan” (Nick Jr.) and a new literacy project in development at The Learning Box (creators of “WordWorld”).  She has also been an Educational Consultant for many Nick Jr. properties and her other clients include Discovery Kids, Mike Young Productions, Baby Einstein, Granada Kids and Classic Media. 

In addition, she is a licensed Psychologist and certified School Psychologist.  She had a private practice specializing in learning disorders before her full-time involvement in educational media.  Dr. Brown is herself a mother of three children who keep her completely engrossed and provide the perfect test group when she is not at Little Airplane.
