Debbie oversees acquisitions and original production across Nickelodeon UK’s three popular channel brands: Nickelodeon, NickToons and Nick Jr.  She is spearheading the unique ‘Nickelodeon Pilot Scheme’ which launched in 2005. The first production, Genie in the House, premiered in 2006 to immediate ratings success. Macdonald joined Nickelodeon in 1994 and has been responsible for key acquisitions like iCarly, Yo Gabba Gabba and Roary the Racing Car which have made Nickelodeon the number one commercial kids’ TV network in the UK.
