BETH GARDINER
Vice President, Original Programming and Development, Playhouse Disney

Beth GardinerBeth currently oversees the development of new Playhouse properties with creators and producers in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific.  She is also supervising the new Playhouse series Jungle Junction produced by Spider-Eye in the UK.  

Beth was responsible for the production and development for some of Playhouse Disney's most successful series including Disney's Little Einsteins, Disney's Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Disney’s My Friends Tigger & Pooh, as well as the soon-to-be-seen live-action series Imagination Movers, which began production in New Orleans in October of 2007. 

Beth joined Disney Channel in September 2002 as Director of Development.  Previously, she was a Production Executive for Nickelodeon where she worked on such hit Nick Jr. series as Little Bear, Maisy, Kipper, Maggie and the Ferocious Beast and Oswald.  Gardiner first joined Nickelodeon as a Coordinator before moving on to Director of Animation, and then Production Executive.  

Prior to her career in children's television, Beth was a literary agent and teacher. Gardiner is a graduate of Catholic University with a BA in Speech and Drama.
