THOMAS HAILER

Born 1959, in Öhringen. 1991 -1993 director and head of the drama division at the Thüringer Landestheater in Rudolstadt. Script doctor, specialising in children's films, since 1996. Dramatic advisor for the funding of children's films for the Stiftung Kuratorium Junger Deutscher Film, since 1997. Director of the Generation section of the Berlin International Film Festival, since 2002. Member of the Förderverein Deutscher  Kinderfilm e.V. and jointly responsible for the conception of the advanced education initiative Akademie für Kindermedien.
