JACOB HABGOOD
Head of Serious Games, Sumo Digital Ltd.

Jacob worked at the coal-face of game development within the internal development studios of Gremlin, Infogrames and Atari. In 2003 he took up a scholarship from the University of Nottingham to study for a Ph.D. examining the educational potential of video games.

He is now responsible for a new initiative in games and learning at Sumo-Digital. Jacob's research has involved creating games with and for children. He is the author of a successful beginner's book on game development.
