BECKY PARRY
Children and Film Researcher, University of Sheffield

Becky worked as a teacher and then as Education Manager at the Showroom where she established a range of projects including the Showcomotion Film Festival. She is committed to developing the role of media in education and has completed an MA in Culture, Media and Communication at the Institute of Education.

Becky works in a freelance capacity managing media production projects with children and young people. Last year Becky completed an MA in Educational Research methods prior to commencing a PhD with Sheffield University researching children’s experiences of film.
